The central Vignette is based on a Revolutionary War painting by John Blake White titled Sergeants Jasper and Newton Rescuing American Prisoners from the British. The portrait on the lower left is General Daniel Morgan and on the right is General Andrew Pickens. This Civil War era note grades Extremely Fine / About Uncirculated with some tiny pinholes and light stains. Issued just one day after hostilites began! ANA & SPMC member.
