This bank operated from 1835 until 1873 when it became the Bank of Charleston, National Banking Association. This attractive note is printed with a red laced undertint and “20” protectors in white under the signatures. Sits beside another allegorical figure near a harbor above the title. Washington is between fancy “20” counters on the left and. Sits at the top right. This note is PMG Graded Very Fine 25 with some pinholes at the center. ANA & SPMC member.
