For your consideration is a 1931 South Carolina license plate in uncleaned condition. The plate features what appears to be a patched extra hole beneath the word “Iodine”. D9240 measures 5 1/2″ x 13 1/4″, features original paint, lays flat, and displays nicely. The license plate features wear including scratching, paint loss, and rust resulting from period era use, aging, and storage.
