South Carolina Gamecocks Authentic Basketball Jersey Nike USC #25
South Carolina Gamecocks Authentic Basketball Jersey. Authentic University of South Carolina basketball jersey. Jersey is in exact same condition as when it was released from USC athletics; I have not worn or washed the jersey. This is a Nike jersey from before USC switched to under armor jerseys. Patches, names, and logos are sewn and stitched on; the jerseys from this time were way better quality than the current team jerseys (in my opinion). Jersey does not have name sewn on because this particular jersey was never issued, so is not a player worn jersey but is 100% authentic player jersey from usc athletics, not a reproduction or souvenir jersey. Check out my other listings for more gamecock apparel and souvenirs, I will be listing more items as time permits. Feel free to ask for more info! These are really cool and in very nice condition. All are signed and numbered. Both the print and one stamp at the bottom are signed. Then there is another stamp included in the framing. All were professionally framed and the COA’s are generally on the back of the frames. These are all from different years – the earliest I think is from the early 90’s. The rest span from 98-2003 I believe. They are listed as a set but we would be willing to sell separately if you are interested. 1863 Half-Sheet (8 Pcs.) Bank of the State of South Carolina Fractional Notes
1863 Half-Sheet 8 Pcs. Bank of the State of South Carolina Fractional Notes. Offered for your consideration is a partial sheet of fractional notes, issued by the principal bank in South Carolina during the Civil War, to help alleviate the shortage of small change in circulation at the time. Additionally, this piece features a printing mistake in the note at the upper right, with an ” S ” being missing from the printed denomination. Each note depicts a large palmetto tree at the center, with a scrollwork design below and flanking the base. Above and below this central device is a financial obligation which states that ” The Bank of the / STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA / WILL PAY BEARER ON DEMAND /’IN CURRENT FUNDS’ “, with the location presented in an arc. The denomination, presented in numerical format, flanks the central vignette, while the same is written below the conclusion of the obligation (these are printed in a relatively dark blue ink). At the lower left is the date, FEB. 1, 1863 “, while at the lower right is a signature applied ” For Cashier. The back of each note features a written presentation of the denomination, as well as a notation which indicates that the piece was Issued under Act Feb. , both printed in red ink. Besides being rarely offered for sale, this piece is particularly interesting for the printing error that can be seen on the note in the upper right corner. This error involves the lack of an ” S ” at the end of the printed denomination, making it ” TEN CENT ” instead of ” TEN CENTS ” (the remaining notes all have the proper letters). The survival of this piece may be due to the rampant inflation that was gripping the South in the latter years of the war, making notes of a smaller denomination of little value in commerce. Whatever the reason, this piece would make an interesting addition any Civil War currency or general period collection. Though these notes were never separated and placed in general commerce, they do exhibit signs of poor storage and moderate damage. Toning is noted across the entire surface, imparting a beige to light tan appearance to the paper. This toning is slightly darker at the edges and along the folds, with several significant stains scattered throughout the design. Numerous harsh folds can be seen throughout, none of which appears to seriously affect the integrity of the paper. Ink corrosion has caused some loss and weakness of the paper at the signatures, a situation which could be slowed by the addition of archival tape to the back of the document. The contrast with the printing is relatively good, though areas of weakness are noticeable in various locations. Three of the edges are ragged and irregular, while the left margin is cut at an angle (this is where the other half of the sheet was attached). Each of these notes measures approximately 2½ x 3¾ inches, with the total piece (including selvage) measuring approximately 8¼ x 11 inches. This item would look great framed with the other notes in the series, illustrating their production and subsequent use. A great item that is rarely offered in today’s marketplace.
