This bank operated from 1853 until it failed in 1865. Earlier notes are printed with “Chesterville” as the town name but later notes were changed to “Chester” as the town name changed. This note features a detailed Vignette of an early locomotive above the bank title as well as a Vignette of. Seated by a sailor holding the stars and stripes to the left. On the lower right is a portrait of a young woman. A fancy “TWENTY” protector is printed in red! This note grades Fine / Very Fine with pinholes, internal breaks on the TCC & Co. Watermark, and a small internal tear on the top right corner. ANA & SPMC member.
