Post Civil War South Carolina brass clip corner belt plate or belt buckle. The front has an applied South Carolina state seal insignia. Both the buckle and insignia have great golden brown patinas. The reverse has a wide brass tongue and an applied brass belt attachment bar. This belt buckle measures 58 x 75 mm in size. It shows some scratches and scuff marks. The pictures are accurate.
